I have one ethernet cable and want to hook up my PC and 360 to it. by Worm 12/30/2011, 12:49am PST
The ethernet cable is coming out of a Netgear WGR614 and I'm using a dirt old Netgear RP114 to "split" the connection. It was working fine until I tried to enable DHCP or open ports or do anything at all with it. I'm not sure if that's because it's old or because my feeble brain can't get RIP set up properly. I probably should replace it but with what? A switch, a hub, a ball of solder?

It's happening with hubs, switches, and routers so I don't think it's that. by Worm 01/09/2012, 9:48am PST NEW
