if you have dhcp enabled on the Netgear WGR614, you don't want it enabled on the Netgear RP114
you just want one 'router' and one 'switch' so the idea is to make the RP114 as close to a dumb hub as possible, shut off any services and let it behave like that if you can. if it HAS to behave like a router with dhcp services, make sure it is handing out a different block of IPs than the WGR614, and that it knows to use the WGR614 as its gateway
alternately, just buy a dumb 4 port gigE switch they're super cheap at best buy or w/e |
