The moderation practices on this forum are toxic and reinforce point 1 by disallowing the intelligent and interesting people from the community to perform the natural acts of questioning bullshit, challenging ridiculous ideas, and in general, chasing off the people who earn the dubious distinction of having objectively wrong opinions. Yes, they do exist.

So when people like Lizard King, Bill Dungsroman, BobJustBob, NotOneOfUs, AngieG, MattG, Zeke, Shadarr, Bahimiron, tiohn, and probably others I’m missing, are banned from the forum for whatever reason, it is effectively kicking the very strongest part of the community directly in the teeth.
