Getting at unlockables from the start? by Mischief Maker 10/11/2010, 9:44am PDT I have a dream that someday I will be able to buy a racing game and be able to invite my friends over to play multiplayer the moment I open the box. Until that day comes, I will buy a racing game, play it for 5-10 hours until most of the tracks and enough of the cars are unlocked, THEN invite friends over. Ironically the multiplayer will not be very fun and will be over quickly because they're rank beginners and I've spent several hours mastering the game in an effort to make it playable. In the end everybody (especially the rental market) loses!
