Then - shooting and skinning anything that moves, saving ranchers daughters from those Sanders boys, treasure maps, picking flowers, recovering children remains from the Hill People, unlock gay outfits, dragging cunts behind your horse and waylaying coaches. I'm only going back to the main story if they drag me kicking and screaming.
Gunplay mechanic is simple and GOW cover based. Max Payne bullettime recharges with kills, some of the most satisfying being shot and staggering around ragdolls i've seen in a while. Trampling over people on horseback even better than Assassins Creed 2. Very OCD friendly, half the things you do end up building collection meters for becoming a master hunter, shooter, horseman....florist. If there's a way to quickly tell good guys from bad guys I'd like to know it, i catch up to someone shooting at someone else on horseback and half the time the one i kill ends up being the deputy. Murder a few waves of posses they throw at you to avenge him and all the sudden you've got bounty hunters.
Shooting horses gets me a fine for "Horse Assault" >:( |
