As if you know what's up. I wouldn't be leaving it, I'd be lurking occasionally for two years. Yeah, I don't want to waste my time arguing about whether my life is better than anyone else's here anymore. You can kid yourself privately if you doubt that. We're all much better off if I can just talk about my life without any of that bullshit. Maybe after I get bored of all this luxury I'll be keen for a bit more of that, but at the moment, I'm looking so far down my nose at every one of you that I find the idea of comparing ourselves offensive.

I wish I had my camera with me yesterday: Indian labourers toil daily in 50*C heats and there have been many complaints from Westerners about the Indians' Arab masters beating the Indians for getting caught drinking water in public during Ramadan! I haven't seen that, but I was stopped at the lights on my way back from work yesterday and there were Indians working on the road there, and they have to buy their own helmets and this one guy didn't have a helmet and I don't know what happened between him and his manager, but I'm guessing he was forced to wear something, so in place of a helmet, in 50*C heat, he about 5 t-shirts and a sheet of broken polystyrene strapped to the top of his head with a bungee cord that ran under his chin. I thought it was the funniest thing.
Anyway, sorry for being a dick. I'll write a good post on Friday. |
