Hurt Locker is a fucking travesty by Lizard_King 07/26/2009, 8:30pm PDT
I vomited all over qt3 to get this point across in specific detail, but I'll save you the trouble of reading that many words. It's the worst movie I've seen this year, and the least realistic war movie I've seen in a long time. There's no fucking excuse to do that with as many sources as are available, for cheap, in this day and age. Oliver Stone had more grit and realism in his awful paean to 9/11, and The Darkness in that WWI level with zombies had a better grasp of war's realities. And I hated both of those. Fuck Katheryn Bigelow for retroactively ruining Near Dark, also a better war movie than this piece of shit.
