Unless your point is that I'm right and there isn't a fucking reason to play WAR. Additionally, what kind of person researches the climate of a server before rolling on it? I just wanted people to play with. Though that's the biggest mistake you could make going into an MMORPG, expecting to find 'play' or 'people'.
I'm not going to play a MMORPG that no one else plays. Maybe I don't have a refined enough MMORPG palette, though the "massively multiplayer" thing is a pretty big part of it for me. Sure I don't want to join a guild, join a vent, and totally fag out. Though I don't want to play an empty game, what's the point of that? Who would want to do something that sad? You can't shrug and just go "oh well I was always a loner", because the entire game is driven by world events. I really don't even see how you came back level 33 into Vortex and are defending that shit.
Beyond that you're just typing a bunch of shit to win over someone who just has to be playing one of these fucking things all the time. I don't. I'm not going to go back to something else, or fall back into WoW, or get some hankering for hardcore PVP. I'll just go back to some of the awful normal RPGs I've blown off. I really don't give a shit about MMORPGs unless they're fun. The entire design of Warhammer relies on servers being semi-populated, so Vortex is just not fun as is. You get no scenarios, you get no ORVR, people are supposed to create the conflict and fun in this game. The fucking land of the Dead is near perma locked, so I can't even check that out.
I don't even understand the argument you're making. You obviously stopped playing around when everyone else stopped playing, and I can't imagine you're going to resub to play with fucking jso. So you're just in the same boat I am in, though for some reason you're not disappointed that the "new ideas" stopped immediately after release. They wanted this fast paced new type of MMORPG and what they ended up with is a super slow paced game with PVP that is more tedious than all of WoW. |
