| That alone was worth the price of the game. You can crush almost every building, except for the skyscrapers which you can climb up. I gained like 10 ranks in it which gave me 2 upgrades to my normal skills.
At first, you get a new spell every 10 ranks, but at like lvl 40 it gives you an upgrade every 5 levels, and it gave me upgrades to my pre existing skills, which was awesome. One was an improved ground slam when you jump and attack and it slams down in an attack, the upgrade gives you a giant slam which I used to level a ton of buildings at once, plus a bunch of tiny tanks all firing missiles at you and I could squish all of them with the stomp or just by walking on them. Also the game lets you pick up the tanks and throw them at other tanks, with an auto lock on so it's really easy and intuitive just for this little novelty level. The amount of stuff you can interact with in this game is really awesome. This game also reminds me a ton of Beyond Good and Evil, except you don't take pictures of stuff for money. There weren't any crashes today, but yesterday there were a bunch of weird bugs where the game would start rendering shit all fucked up and then when I try to exit through the menu it would crash big time, sometimes just disappearing to desktop and then once it crashed and wouldn't clear the game so I had to reset, because it thought the game was closed but I couldn't get the desktop up, even with ctrl alt del and the trick where you hit del and push left once and hit enter to force a program out. Anyway I just alt F4 to exit the game from now on after I'm done saving, and that works fine. The game isn't fucking up at this point anyway. |
