| I still can't do any linked combos at all. Like, I can't complete the 4th trial of any character, let alone do them in game. It's difficult AND boring to hone those skills, a deadly combination (wordplay!) that ensures I'll never do it.
But now that I'm in the middle of the G2 Champion tier, it's starting to become clear that I'll need those combos to stay competitive (if it wasn't already clear when I lost 20 "more skilled" ranked matches in a row and punched the controller.) I main Sakura and yesterday was beaten by another Sakura who I outplayed, but the difference was that my whiffs got punished by huge linked combos, while I punished the opponent's mistakes with my comparatively weak combo of fierce, fierce dragon punch. My only combo! The mirror really got the better of me in this mirror match, and it made me realize how little I'm really using Sakura. Anyway, I forget why I started this post. "You suck" I guess? |
