This is best watched on youtube itself in HD because it's a nice big clear video. At the beginning of the action scene at like 1:20, you can see that the player has set immolation fire traps on the ground, they're swirling fire chunks just sitting on the ground that actually look like they're just some fire doodads placed on the ground like you see in a lot of games with blown up shit all over, but no they are player placed fire traps apparently (either from the magic spell, or some other kind of item or spell?), there are two next to each other at the bottom of those stairs, and one splicer walks right onto one and is thrown up into the air and caught on fire, while the player starts blasting the splicer with rivets.

Also behind the giant globe if you look at the ground, there's a little sister sitting there, and several of the splicers run directly for her and attack her. It looks like she's harvesting adam.
