The preferred method is to have them create a mage character pupil so they can learn an offensive spell and level by killing directly. That way you can keep them focused on stave mastery (which will greatly enhance their abilities in the long run) without compromising their primary mission.
Failing that, having them team attack with more powerful characters can occasionally work. I recommend using the the power leveling guide on gamefaqs to focus your grinding on levels with max returns. Or you can just figure out an experience windfall when you see it, but that's up to you.
I'm not sure I remember why, but I do remember that under no circumstances did I ever choose a male cleric over a female. |
