Let's talk a bit more about rape.
Here are some reasons rape is the worst non-deadly crime: Rapes usually take ages. The rapist knows he might as well take his time and have many rapes because the law gives bulk discounts for rape. For instance, you can get 1 rape for seven years, or 2 for nine years, or 5 for eleven years. Imagine what goes through a lady's head if she's being raped multiple times for hours on end. It's not the fear or horror or other predictable 'natural' reactions that would fuck with her later when she looks back on it; it'll be the moments she became bored, or her mind wandered, or even enjoyed it slightly. She won't be able to make sense of that or feel comfortable talking about it. Rape is slightly flattering. One of my favourite comedians is Billy Connolly. He'd sometimes stop making jokes on stage and start talking about serious things which is one of the reasons I liked him. He wouldn't do some American, "Seriously though, folks, let's spare a thought for the people suffering in New Orleans tonight!". Rather, he'd feel a bit sentimental and, on a whim, stop trying to make people laugh and go on about how much he misses his Aunt. Sometimes these tangents would take ages and he'd notice people getting restless so he'd yell he'd "FUCK YOU!" and go back to being funny. Anyway! Once, Billy Connolly was talking about his father, who raped him for the better part of a decade, and he was saying how the hardest part of it was that it felt good at times. He hated it and it was so awkward and damaging, but when you've got someone pulling your dick for long enough, it'll eventually feel a little bit good just because that's how a dick is designed, and as soon as it does, you'll feel complicit and you'll question yourself for the rest of your life.
QB, how hard is it to find housing there and how much of a selling point for you is the free coke?
Yes and a lot. He sent a text once asking if I was feeling 'toey' which I thought was Australian for drunk because I'd just been drinking so I replied, "A little but I'm mostly just tired." and I found out later that toey is Australian for horny. His coke makes me popular. Strangers come to his parties and try to become my friends so they can get into the coke room. I know that sounds cheap but most of them have turned out to be really cool people, so it's a better way of meeting people than a squash club AND a sewing class, which have only provided me with honest people of poor quality.
