The only reason to play as Nero is to see his various special grapples, especially versus the bosses (leaping into the aforementioned Toad's mouth, smashing some crap and then bursting out through it's back as example when he grabs it from the front) Also most of Nero's unlockable skills and abilities are worthless 99% of the time, but when they are useful, they are indispensable and will save your life/kill more dudes/be more Slick Smokin' Stylin'! At least you can unpurchase skills for a full refund at any upgrade point.[/quote]
