Myself, i'd put the movie with explosions, gunfights and killer robots in a different genre than the one about monsters that kill children in their sleep. When they first started doing that shit i was like gee, they shoulda waited until AFTER the first dramatic shot of batman onscreen before they had a fight scene. Then he was all "I'm Batman" and they kept doing it :( Sin City, another comic movie, had lots of running across rooftops. What it didn't have was its hero flying through the air like a retard. I'm not sure why Nolan thought he should bring his own artistic interpretation to hanglider Batman. It was just as stupid looking in 89 (or maybe the sequel) as it is now. [/quote]
