So they're noisier - big fucking deal. Maybe <i>that's</i> makes them sound better. As long as we're talking about White Stripes, their albums are hissy as shit, but I like it. So thought you were arguing analog mastering is better than digital in the general case (it isn't). It may be more cumbersome. But what works for Mötorhead doesn't necessarily work for Vivaldi.
