I'm fine with this, as teaching pronunciations in contrary to American movies leads to confusing situations like the Taiwan guy loudly asking me how to properly pronounce "CUNT" in a crowded restaurant. Turns out he was saying "can't", but his British English teacher was always correcting him with "cawwnt", and that just comes out as "cunt" when you remove the 20 years in Britain. So now he was trying to drop CUNT into his otherwise Chinese-accented English, and without success...
