You know, I enjoyed Quake 3 Arena. I even enjoyed Quake II, although that certifies me as stupid. But Doom3? A game I wanted to love?
Fuck you, id. Please, Raven, release Quake 4 soon. And add extra kickass. KTHX. No kidding. 2004 was the Exception Proves the Rule year in gaming. Hype-beast HL2 lives up to it while Doom3, the quietest big release ever, withers on the vine and resorts to ripping off HL2 in damage control expansions and claiming that Doom3 was so jam-packed with awesomeness that it's all just spillover. They actually claim they made up the Gravity Gun first? Oh, my.
But the Monitor Monster. Wow. Just...wow. That's not a joke? How could that not be a joke? |
