Maybe one of the most dissapointing, but worst? Again, I have no clue how bad it was when it first came out (except I remember the demo's framerate being crappy, but I can't remember if I tried that on my PIII or PIV), but now on a decent machine with all the fixes I'd say it's worth a bargain bin price.
I'd also call Devil May Cry 2 a more dissapointing sequel. I played that only to beat it, while I derived mild amusement from Deus Ex.

Well, then the first one was a shitty game, because the mechanic used to determine the ending is the exact same in both games. I'll throw in another negative and say that the endings in both games are very unsatisfying. Endings that show you the result of your reshaping of global society, and all you get is a 10 second movie and random quote from a philosophy 101 textbook? Lame.
