If I'm giving someone money, or (in Leonard's case) someone is giving someone money on my behalf, I expect that person to change their behaviour to humour me, and if I don't approve of their behaviour, I'm gonna feel like speaking out about it. I agree, there's an age where a man shouldn't skip. There is a later age where anything goes: he can skip again, or punch people for calling him names, at his own peril, provided he is tastefully dressed. Seventy-six is on the low end of that range but LC is in the clear.
especially an old man, and old men should change the lyrics of their songs so they sing of love only in the past tense. The ladies in the audience love him present-tense. How did the Brisbane sheilas take him? SPOILER: he jokes about his own age a couple of times, and in a touching moment, thanks the audience for their love in a way that alludes to his doubts about his ability to earn it. |
