| I've had a sore throat for the last four weeks. The day after the superbowl I woke up completely deaf from an ear infection, and I'm only now starting to hear normally again. My deadbeat brother's been staying with me all month. He says he's going to start looking for work tomorrow, and might have his own place by the end of March (no promises). I'm going in for blood and urine tests tomorrow and I can't eat or drink until afterwards. My throat is killing me and I want a glass of water. Mostly I'm worried about having to pee into a cup, I've never done it before and what if I get some part of it so fundamentally wrong they have to call the fire department? Still, I didn't lose my job, the love of my life isn't marrying some other guy, and I'm not getting the old spanner in the works from my landlord, so thank God for small favours. | ||||
