| Warp Spider Exarch was the choice of pros everywhere, not because of him personally (because he sucks), but because Warp Spiders were amazing and his ability to call them in anywhere for a ridiculously low cost was broken.
Hive Tyrant was the worst hero pre-patch, he was just too slow. Post-patch he was the most common hero I came across, even more than the Kommando blowing up bases! It's not just exploiting rippers (though it's a pretty big part), tyranids need a stronger grasp of the base mechanics than the other races (shitty basic units, synapse auras with different effects)..nah I'm just horseshitting ya, people are retarded and can't figure out basic stuff that takes most people 1 or 2 games of playing a race which at the advanced level becomes "attack move 100 popcap around the map" |
