I've been waiting on this project since shortly after its announcement, and it seems as though the developers have lost all interest in it. It's been almost 4 years since it was announced, and the last actual fix (based on the bug tracker) was on December 4 of LAST YEAR. However, if you go to any forum and mention these facts, you get a lashing because "It's a free mod and you don't have the right to expect anything." Well, if you announce a project -- I don't care if its free -- you should set aside time to work on it and have every intention of releasing it, instead of sitting on it for years and refusing to release the bugfixes that are ALREADY FINISHED. I wish they would just announce that they are no longer working on the Restoration Project and drop it, as they should have long ago. Only die-hard BioWare fans like me are still interested. |
