My mother got me a tiny, cheap slow cooker and a tiny, cheap deep fryer. I forgive her cause she also got me a new pearl drop necklace and the iRiver, but still: didn't even peel the $9.99 off the slow cooker. Seriously, mom. (I got her 20 strings of Chinese freshwater pearls and a mess of other shell beads. Who pwned who? My presentation was way better (hatbox, layers of tissue, ribbon,) but she laid out the high ticket goods.)

The Weaponsmith got me a very expensive Zojirushi electric hot pot. MERRY CHRISTMAS BABY. And the two Space Ghost C2C DVD sets. For my birthday: vacuum cleaner or new dustpan? (I got him: subscriptions to Guns And Ammo, American Gunsmithing Monthly, Combat Weapons And Tactics for Law Enforcement, The Shooting Times, and some other gun magazine I can't even remember now.)

My brother gave me the laptop I had sold him for $600, then bought back for $500 five months later and never actually paid him for. (I got him a hardcover Don Quixote and Kurosawa's 'Stray Dog.')

One of my bosses at work, the DYKE, gave me a $20 in a Christmas card. GWAN TREAT YASELF HONEY (card read: "thanks for the hard work and laughs in the AM.") I bought a bottle of Bombay gin with it and got her... nothing. :(

ps: the hot pot is awesome though.
