You know, if you're going to make my replays obsolete with each patch, can you at least make sure it's a meaningful one and not just a list of frivolous things?
Fixed: Seer Council is TOTALLY balanced now! 100% for sure this time. Thank God.
Fuck the people whining about the seer council with a rusted glass dildo. They've assured that this "problem" gets number one priority over more important game breakers like Eldars building ten billion turrets anywhere (turtled critical point take & hold games), ork horde bonus not working, and Eldar teleporting to building tops not meant for travel and being invincible up there.
What the christ was with thinking the seer council was massively overpowered? They're melee specialists that suck at melee. Equal in cost and massive build time to ork nobs only they're weaker and break more easily. I loved Relic's fix. Conceal ability stacking when it shouldn't. Actually fixing that would have been too hard I guess, so they just secretly disabled conceal entirely. You could sill pay money to research it and think you were benefitting from it, but it wouldn't have any effect. Another Eldar warlock/council ability that is now worthless is embolden. It used to be just like rally and restore your morale to max. Now it...does nothing.
Still fucked up and stupid: the entire interface. You know those scroll bars on the right side of web pages and stuff? Relic's never seen one before, I guess, since their scroll bars don't fucking work. Also, Relic doesn't know how to put a cursor into a field by default. When DOW asks for input, I have to click over to the text field. And tabbing between fields doesn't work. Basic shit like this just kills me. It's like Microsoft (MICROSOFT for fuck's sake) with RON. In the multiplayer chat before the game starts, when I'm typing all caps gibberish smack at people, Backspace doesn't work while holding down the shift key. BEEP! it says. WTF?
Another SUPAR IMPORTANT FIX: Chat room flooding fixed. You know, so all the meaningful conversation that go on in there won't be interrupted. Those European teens need someplace to yell about Bush.
Why the fuck can't any game maker besides Blizzard get multiplayer interfaces right? Warcraft 3 is FOUR YEARS OLD and still has the single best multiplayer interface in all of PC gamedom. Why is it so hard to copy this model? So many great multiplayer games are dragged down by shitty interfaces.
Aren't these the same guys who made the first fully three-dimensional RTS game? Why are they struggling with a 2D isometric game? Why are they struggling with a fucking WINDOWS interface? What's next, a Battlefield game with a broken scroll bar?

Removed the 2-minute drop window, where a player could abort a game within 2 minutes of starting and not receive a loss.
