Logitech celebrates Billionth mouse! by Mischief Maker 12/29/2008, 3:42pm PST

Of course, one of the biggest contributing factors was the fact that their mice are INCREDIBLY SHITTY and break in less than a year. The same can be said for their joysticks and webcams. Everything sporting the logitech logo is guaranteed shit. Yet they are the only company selling an affortable center-located trackball mouse.

One of my classes this semester was "Client Interviewing and Counseling." The final project was taping a mock interview with a friend for the professor to grade. I borrowed someone's logitech webcam with built-in mic and did a short test video. Everything seemed fine. The next day we did the interview. After the interview was done, I loaded up the video to watch and was greeted with a perfectly fine picture, and this for sound:

"Hello, c'mon in. I hope you didn't have any trouble driving here through the snow? Great. Now let's beg-SHHSSHKKKKKSHSHSKKKKKK..."

The fucking speaker kept cutting in and out with the audio and noise. The professor said quite clearly NO do-overs and said for me to give her what I got. She's since strained about 20 minutes of audio out of the 1 hour video. She says based on what I've got, I can settle for a B-, or write a paper to make up the missing parts.

Motherfucking Logitech.
