| ROM CHECK FAIL is good, but I wouldn't put it in the top 5. Temporal is totally better than that cursor click game.
"I wish I were the moon" rates right up there with "Passage" for odious non-game inexplicably beloved and strewn with accolates. The whole idea of the game is you're a girl using point and click dragging to express her love for some random dude sitting in a boat. Things like placing yourself on the moon and playing a harp while the dude sits there and thinks, "hurry up and show me your tits!" Not that I don't see the pathetic appeal such a concept would have on nerds. All the game needs is a part where you start spinning to slow the earth's rotation. Off the top of my head, here are 5 much better indie games to come out in 2008, with the bonus that they are all actual games and not semi-interactive flash movies: 1. Rescue: The Beagles 2. Gravitron 2 3. The Spirit Engine 4. Noitu Love 2 5. Atomhex |
