The demo showcases the first two chapters of the No Mercy episode. The first chapter, Apartments, has you fighting in a rundown building through waves of zombies, as well as bosses, such as the witch, boomer, and tank. In the second chapter, Subway, you work your way through the red line tunnels [insert blood red joke here], man a mounted turret, blast a blitzing horde of infected, and then, finally, enter the third safe house. What immediately stands out about the demo is that you never play the same round twice. Other than the contents of the safe rooms, everything is randomnly generated, including the locations of regular infected, boss infected, and weapons and health pickups.

I seen the first 15 minute previews and it BLOWS
the zombies would just stand there for an easy kill
I seen floating zombies and zombies walking through walls
not to mention the gameplay is repetitive. Shoot zombies, grab supplies, explore, and shoot more zombies. Wash, rinse, repeat.
where the challenge? they stand in the hall.. doing nothing.. you shot... then they die... ???? "I must have mowed down atleast 30 of them with that shotty as they all rushed towards me in that narrow stairwell lol" how is that a challenge? fun yes BUT FOR HOW LONG? If mommy buy your games then you don't care about paying $65 for a game you will run through maybe 4 times at most..
I hope they improve on these issues or they will have a whole lot of disappointed gamers.
I pretty much know I will get a lot of heat for saying this but I'm a true gamer that looks for all the details. I can tell by most of these posts that I will see a lot of people calling me a "doo doo head" . |
