Worm: So they just found a gay little way to force the player to be subjected to their AWESOME IDEA Ice Cream Jonsey:: Someone enjoyed the shopping aspects of Jets n Guns Worm: Yeah, except in Jets n Guns you had your guns and your jet. Ice Cream Jonsey:: And the jet didn't randomly fall out of the sky Worm: In Farcry 2 I need to unlock the AK47 Ice Cream Jonsey:: UNLOCK the AK47? Worm: I'm not allowed to have a functioning AK47 out of the gate. Ice Cream Jonsey:: Do you have to unlock his fists, early? Ice Cream Jonsey:: DO you have to unlock "going forward"? Worm: The most RELIABLE FUCKING GUN IN THE ENTIRE WORLD Worm: Jams unless you buy a brand new one. Ice Cream Jonsey:: Do you have to unlock the left mouse button to start the game? Ice Cream Jonsey:: Do you have to buy a key to unlock the slip case the game comes in? Worm: Boots: Keeps you from stubbing your toe, stops scorpions, LOCKED Ice Cream Jonsey:: Do you have to get hired by Gamestop, get a couple weeks in to establish trust, and then get the key to lock up the store at night, before getting the game? Ice Cream Jonsey:: Why is anyone playing this, again? Ice Cream Jonsey:: Is there save-anywhere? Worm: Yeah! Ice Cream Jonsey:: Do you have to UNLOCK it? Ice Cream Jonsey:: Do you have to do a mission for the right to have F5 and F6 as quicksave, instead of using the menu? Worm: No. Worm: But they have these little wall save things, and safe houses, so you could see they were thinking of not putting it in. Worm: I mean if you look at it you can tell the game originally was designed without save anywhere. Ice Cream Jonsey:: That ought to be a mission, though: the one to unlock WASD Ice Cream Jonsey:: So you have to use the arrow keys Ice Cream Jonsey:: And the mission is tricky because you have to go in diagonals a lot Ice Cream Jonsey:: It's all "calibrate this sundial" and "play checkers with this African" Worm: That would let them showcase the sun system. Ice Cream Jonsey:: Unlocking an AK47...! Ice Cream Jonsey:: In Zork, I remember we had to call a number to unlock the command "west", back in the day Ice Cream Jonsey:: Infocom's lines were flooded Ice Cream Jonsey:: They eventually released a patch Ice Cream Jonsey:: Nobody could get into the house Ice Cream Jonsey:: And this was before T-mobile would throw in free long distance Ice Cream Jonsey:: Did you ever pay to go west, Worm?
