After I first read The Lord of the Rings, my dad asked me which was my favourite character. I told him Boromir, because he seemed the most human (in every sense of the word). Also, he had the decency to die before I lost interest in the whole turgid enterprise. Then he asked me if I was sure it wasn't one of the hobbits or dwarves, and I told him to stop asking me about dwarves, I didn't choo-choo-choose to be short, and he said I obviously didn't choo-choo-choose not to be, and I think I ran away and cried.

Much, much later, I was in the hospital, and he was thousands of miles away, and the nurse or lady doctor or whatever asked me how tall I was, and I told her 170cm. Then she asked me how much I weigh, and I told her 170kg. She was properly skeptical, so she weighed me. Apparently I was only 117kg. "Not as bad as you thought! ^_^" exclaimed the nurse. "I WAS JOKING," exclaimed me.

Then, a few hours before that last thing happened, I had just been brought into the hospital, and a different nurse asked me if I knew where I was. I said I was either in Hell, or ~~medlab~~ hospital - either way, the décor needs work. I think I must have been pretty out of it, to drop the single gayest Babylon 5 quote in my cobra bay on a real, live girl. It almost makes me wish I didn't know any Babylon 5 quotes, but that's stupid.
