Last time I was in there, they had a bunch of multi-DVD "themed sets" out for Halloween, each with nine or ten shitty old horror films for under four dollars. I got the Vincent Price one (with House on Haunted Hill, Carnival of Souls, and some other movies without Vincent Price in them) and the Grindhouse one (not affiliated with Quentin Tarantino or the film Grindhouse, actually has stuff like Legend of Bigfoot and Beast of Yucca Flats on it). There were some others, one had Night of the Living Dead and a bunch of other zombie movies I never heard of (not reputable stuff like Return of the Living Dead or Re-Namiator), another was obviously being marketed towards girls (I can tell) so I didn't want to be seen considering it, probably had some gay vampire tearjerkers or whatever. You can get two and a jug of store-brand Clamato cocktail for a tenner, I don't have to draw you a map from there to a good time do I? |
