Fuck you, you whiny, sad little men. Micheal Irvin, who I hate listening to on good days, said of the Donovan Darius-Robert Ferguson hit: "It's a brotherhood out there. It's also a tough, tough game, and you can not only hurt the other guy easy with plays like that, you can get get hurt yourself." He also pointed out that exacting retribution on another player after Darius was ejected in order to get revenge was patently retarded. "This ain't baseball." You can play with fire without actual hatred and a deep desire to do the other guy harm. Evidence? Last Sunday night's game. There are few players in the league at any position as motivated, prepared, and capable as Ray Lewis and Peyton Manning. These guys want to beat each other, Lewis wants to hit Manning any time he gets the call to blitz, so I defy any NFL analyst faggot to tell me that that game was cheapened because Lewis and Manning hugged and shook hands smiling at the game's conclusion. Please. The game was a pure joy to watch, the crowd silencing to let Manning call his audibles, Lewis shuffling his guys around desperately but capably to staunch the vaunted offensive output. That TD to Harrison may onyl have gotten Manning one closer to the record, nothing more, but I bet he'd tell you it was easily one of the toughest he's ever thrown. Also, Colts fans that booed the kneeldown at the end are queer and we'll see how they like their team dying in the playoffs again. They should have been booing Cato June, for being so motherfucking incompetent he can't stay inbounds when running a ball back to the house practically uncontested. Jesus fucking Christ Cato, the lines are even drawn for you, what more do you fucking need?

Somebody actually said they wished football players would hate each other? And hate how players shake hands and talk after games? I don't believe it. That's beyond idiotic.

On the other hand, the players and ex-players complaining that the fine was too stiff are stupid. The man couldn't move his legs for about an hour. Could have been forever. They shoulda fined him an entire game's worth of his salary: $250,000. Or compressed a couple of his vertebrae.
