Today, toy carmaker Mattel Inc. is worth almost $2 billion more than GM. The Ford family's special Class B shares were worth $586 million five months ago. Today, they are worth less than $189 million. They were worth $2.25 billion when Bill Ford Jr. took over in 1999. |
