While I have most of my formerly glorious mp3 collection backed up to disc, it's not organized, and it's certainly not tagged. Fuck it, I'll just redownload everything all over again. In a way it is a cleansing shock that allows me to let go of thousands of downloads that thought they were cool enough to be listened to by me, but actually they just sat around taking up space or being gay.
Technical questions:
1) How are we tagging our music, Caltrops?
Just a few months ago I had finished hand-tagging 300gb worth of mp3s in foobar. It was a labor of love that I performed on The Man's dime. Guys is there a better way than doing it all by hand?
Tags I'm interested in: release year, approximate genre, track artist, album artist, composer, album title, single title
2) Where are we stealing our classical music from?
3) How are we structuring our directories? |
