| 1. Capcom can spin it any way they want, but their managers are incompetent and should be fired if they couldn't get a patch in for the text. I know they don't care, and they are all patting themselves on the back, but this just creates the impression that they are run by people way over their head.
2. The aiming of the pistol is laughably bad. It seems to pick a random degree in a 360 degree circle to direct you when you go to aim. 3. The Carlito / Brad thing seems to be scripted by amateurs. Brad is worthless in combat, Carlito can take several direct shots from me without slowing down, and at one point I decided to turn on Brad as I read that he pulls out a rocket launcher when he gets low on health. He turned hostile and then ran into the front of that restaurant, legs constantly in motion, until Carlito finished him off. All this, and there is no thematic reason for these two to be trying to kill each other at this point in the game. (Of course, if it is explained, I couldn't read it.) 4. The lack of a restroom, to save, when you get to this fight is unforgivable. Jack moves at the pace of a slug up a cunt's ass, and you have to cross the park-like to get there. 5. I'm amazed they released it with the cell phone going off literally every 20 seconds. Of course, it's still worth playing because I grabbed 40 dishes and proceeded to hurl them like the discs of Tron in an otherwise buggy gunfight. The weapons system is AMAZING, and single-handedly makes the game worth playing. I also caught, late, that the wine restores full health, so I am sure I can slog through it and seem more interesting stuff. But on the whole, the game really doesn't seem like it's finished. the dark and gritty...Ice Cream Jonsey! |
