Bioshock was a great game. Not as good as System Shock 2, but then what is?
Wow, System Shock 2 is the best game ever made?
You guys amaze me sometimes, honestly. You are happy to flap your gums about Halo 3, yet when something like Bioshock is released, an honest attempt at something GOOD, you take a shit on it, and associate anyone with it, no matter how good thier intentions to make a great game, is also dumped on. You people amaze me. Typical elitist gamers. Enjoy your endless stream of half arsed ropey sequals.
I’m a bit tired, and quite hot and flustered at the moment, so I could just be in a mood anyway, and I apologise in advance if I seem harsh but I just wanted to get a rant off my shoulders, and I feel like I should be calling people on thier attitudes, because what I see, honestly, is bull crap. I’m sorry. *shrugs*
...
Sorry to dissagree with people in such a vehement manor, but I feel like it should be said. Some people expect the world, and surprise surprise, when they realize life isn’t like that, it’s unnacceptable.
And Abe, is there a point you want to make or are you going to gripe? Because I was using Halo 3 as an example to prove a point. Do I really have to explain this concept?
Here's the problem with the rest of the internet and the people on it. If you disagree with any established opinion, no matter what it is, people will meltdown like Lowtax did when people revealed his mangosteen scam as the scam that it was/is, exactly like how the rest of something awful is a scam.
And some people think maybe if you use a lot of apologizing and excuses for your ATTITUDE AND BEHAVIOR it would make people calm down. Experience shows that it doesn't matter how you phrase it when you disagree with some isolated (and moderated) message board on the internet, people will instantly meltdown over your disagreement, and then someone will turn out to be friends with a mod or admin and have them edit your posts or ban you and reply to your messages knowing you can't respond or whatever. System Shock 2 fans know they need to do this because they can't be safe anywhere in a scary world where people bring up that System Shock 2 is not the greatest game ever made. It doesn't matter if you put "I'm sorry for saying this it's a little humid outside BUT" or if you just come out and say "fuck you System Shock 2 sucked," people would react the exact same way, and treat you as if you did the latter anyway. |
