(whoever the hell the coach is going to be).
Maybe you can get Wannstedt! Fingers crossed! Bastard!
Speaking of fingers, how about that Jake Plummer :)
Boy what a dumbass. I'd love to know what that fan said to get him pissed off. Must've struck close to home, huh?
That game was a mess, start to (unwatched by me) finish. (I left the game early for non-Jake-related reasons.) It seemed like every pass was overthrown, underthrown, thrown without looking, or thrown away. Can you believe the no-look heave to a Miami defender's feet as he was about to get sacked? Intentional grounding, same as a sack but more stupid. Nice work, Jake. Sometimes, QBs get sacked, you fucking idiot.
Then the sprint right option disaster. You might remember a former QB of ours, John Elway, running the same exact play in Super Bowl 32. In that play, Howard Griffith was open but John elected to run it in for the TD. This was the smart, unselfish move since his route to the endzone was totally undefended. Jake, in the exact same position, tried to throw it instead and needlessly pad his completion/TD stats. Except, oops, the rookie dropped it. Another terrific decision by our QB of the future, maybe.
And Dwayne Carswell, my current favorite whipping bitch, made his requisite fuckups. The play was an over-the-middle route for Rod Smith. Dwayne ran the same exact rout from the other side. Do you think the pick pattern is in our playbook? I wonder if Carswell deliberately improvised that or if he can't count the yard markers or what happened. Of course, they called pass interference on the offense for it. When are we going to cut this shithead?
