Sewing machines are cheap and you can do it all in your bedroom while you’re listening to MP3’s or audiobooks. How productive! You don't have to be the slightest bit brave and if it goes to shit, you lose nothing. Start by making yourself a laptop cover. Then make another couple. Then make one for a friend. Then make a dress. Then you'll be set!
