A chunk of the achievements seemed like they were designed to get people to not play the medic like a retard. That's good. More of that. Especially things like "Uber 2 teammates at once," because it makes people think about things they can do they might never have thought of before.
But then there's the stuff that seems like "what would be wacky crazy fun" that only happen if there's 5 people on the server and they're all your friends, and insane grinding. Kill 50 scouts with the needle gun? Holy shit. I was on track to get 1 million heal points MONTHS before I had that. 650k healing points and 2 scout kills before I cheesed the scout achievement. Same thing with bonesaw 50 medics. At the very least, it should have been 50 each of any class. I can usually get 2-3 kills per game at least with a medic, so 25 games or so. Not a big deal, and it makes people think about being aggressive if their heal target dies. |
