Actually it was about a shitty screenwriter. The main point of the original shock experiments was that it was being conducted by authority figure scientists at a prestigious university and they were saying, "We know what we're doing, this is all part of the plan, we will take full responsibility, continue shocking."
This situation, on the other hand, is being conducted by a low-rent supervillian in his lair/funhouse and directed at a cop who's trying to arrest him. This isn't about fighting back against The Man, it's about choosing option A in a "Saw" movie.
As an aside, what's the source of this sudden influx of shitty posters lately? Is this a trail of refugees from Tom Chick's most recent round of ethnic cleansing? "Sniff! I'll show them!
