| Boss: "Fussbett, can you upload these JPGs to the server so that the client can download them?"
Fussbett: "Sure, I'll zip them up." Boss: "Can the client open zip files on a PC?" Fussbett: "Yes. Oh hey, these two zipped files are only 6 megs and 3 megs. I'll just e-mail them." Boss: "Isn't that too big to e-mail?" Fussbett: "No." Boss: "I gave the client a hard time for e-mailing me a 6 meg attachment already." Fussbett: "Ok, e-mailing is out." Boss: "It's safer to FTP anyway. That way it doesn't clog up her e-mail, and she might be getting it on her Blackberry." I hope RIM makes Blackberries compatible with attachments soon! :( |
