Actually, I think he is so funny and bright that I'm pretty certain his tales of psychiatric treatment and social anxiety are just a facade that he chooses to adopt here. I figure nobody that funny and interesting can really be afraid of sitting in a coffee shop or talking to mailwomen or whatever.

What the fuck is this?

Of course he’s a pussy. Swear at him some time and see what happens. You mustn’t be very funny if you think funny people are brave. Zseni will be the first to tell you that funniness and interestingness are compensatory characteristics. If you’re lucky, they’re just compensating for a small dick or a lisp or closet homosexuality, but in more severe cases, funniness/interestingness can be a symptom of a lack of balls, a shit body, or even a beastly Korean wife.

If Jerry were as funny, interesting, and brave as you believe, I’m sure he could find a better way of distinguishing himself than pretend stories of Coffeehouse paranoia (although I love them!).

In my opinion, he gets a satisfactory level of love on Caltrops but is missing out on valuable hate because of peoples’ fears he’ll bitch out like BDR. This is the guy that once seriously compared his unwillingness to participate in society to a WW2 bomber pilot’s reluctance to fly over axis targets! I hope we all held that against him because no one made fun of him for it.
