| Done. I figured that the branching takes place only from the cab ride forward, nothing you've done up to that point seems to matter. I went the anarch route. After beating the last boss guy I picked up the letter opener on LaCroix's desk, slashed his throat and stabbed him with it. At that point the conversation options were rather vague so I chose the one I thought was the anarch ending chooser. I appear to have been right. I walked away, leaving him with the key to the coffin. He laughed maniacally as I walked away, then opened the sarcophagus - full of Astrolite with a note 'Enjoy! -Love Jack'.
Cut to the top of the tower exploding, pan back, revealing Jack sitting on a lawn chair with Messerach or wtf the mummy guy from the sarcophagus' name was. Jack says something like 'Don't say much, huh Mess?' as a shadowy mist-like black figure slowly approaches him. And cut to credits. |
