So I did go and try this game, but WARILY o_o.
Most deal breakers for me as far as portable games go are long intros. If there's a long wordy blah blah blah intro that won't shut up with characters yakking and not letting me do jack shit, then that's usually it for the game. If it's going to have an intro at all, it better be short or have something interesting happen in it.
This one is pretty short (a couple minutes) and has video and dialog(!!!!!), then it immediately starts you off solving a really simple puzzle. Just circle a house on the screen that has a road that connects to no other houses, and you will solve the map puzzle, and that gets you started. A minute later you're in town and you'll apparently be solving little brain tease puzzles like that out the ass.
So far: positive. Very easy to jump into and start playing. |
