Shit, dude, 1999 saw Freespace 2, Planescape Torment, Heroes of Might and Magic 3, and Rollercoaster Tycoon. 2000 saw Sacrifice, Deus Ex, and Diablo 2.


1999 also gave us Command & Conquer 2, which couldn't run on even top of the line systems of the time.


I think the series has gone nowhere but up since EA took over. Generals has been the best one since the original.
