The 6th Amendment wrote:
Amendment 6 - Right to Speedy Trial, Confrontation of Witnesses.
In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence.
Whereas Snoop Judge had the case moved to his own district without the consent of the accused, and whereas the accused was not represented by counsel, nor was any provided for him, and whereas no witnesses - considered here as the parties who had clicked the link in MM's post, qualifying Fabio's as a snoop within the legal scope of that term - were brought forward, we revoke the judgment of the lower courts and declare a mistrial. Fabio, you are free to go. We commend the lower courts for the exceptional speed and transparency of their process, but if this speed is to be bought with a cursory respect for constitutionality, it is too dear. |
