Someone (probably FoK) once linked to an interview with critically acclaimed professional musician Four Tet that revealed:
His tracks are put together using only an unremarkable hi-fi and a Windows PC with a Creative Labs Soundblaster Live soundcard, running a motley selection of software, much of it lagging well behind the cutting edge.
...which is the first thing I thought of when one of my bosses moved the podcast production into the $1500/day AVID edit suite for the "final stages of production" because they really need to hear it through professional monitors. This will be the finest 64kpbs spoken word piece anyone's never heard. |
