That whole exchange is great on two counts - the first is that many of those dumb fuckers more or less cop to the fact that without an enormous display they overpaid for to go with ear-searing audio, their chimplike brains will be insufficiently distracted by the moving, colored lights to where they can't write "7.1" properly for the video game review that they are working on, which inevitably comes out as unfunny and strained as every one of their posts. The second thing I love is that it totally blows their shit that someone might be a student and have priorities beyond determining the winner of DLP vs Plasma. The Q23 way is to go out and marry the first girl that sleeps with you, buy a house in whatever town you grew up in, fill it with rapidly-depreciating consumer electronics and to then get an attitude about it when someone is working hard to get a job and a future that goes beyond a rum-soaked manchild's grasp of what a completely rad job "playing video games for a living" would be. They're fucking vermin, at least the ones giving Worm shit over there in that thread. Worm is working on getting more education than any two of those hysterical, cheerleading losers combined, and still put more effort in his post by getting a picture of himself grabbing his junk near his Xbox games than anyone else over there has spent on a forum post in months. You know how difficult it is to get something at crotch level? We don't, as men, design a whole bunch of things that stop at crotch level. They could learn from his example and take more than three seconds to poorly type out whatever the groupthink transmits them that day. It has long been asked, "Why don't we ever see Worm's best stuff here?" It's because shrill, low content posters in that thread get driven off. the dark and gritty...Ice Cream Jonsey! |
