I'm sure that console jockeys who bought Battlefield 2 are very happy in blissful ignorance with their 24 player cap, unaware that somewhere out there shit is blowing up and people are having fun at about three times the rate because they can get up to 64 players so it actually feels like a real fucking battlefield and not a game of deathmatch.
I usually never log into anything less than a 20-person server population, but when I have logged in at or below 16 players on Gravelpit and Granary I have been bored out of my fucking mind, and have to deal with Worm's abuse and bitching for dragging him to a shit server. On the other hand, a lot of the fan-made maps (CTF_Turbine, CTF_Mach2, CP_Junction) are great for a 16 player max, but since you're a console player you'll never see them.
I'm sure you're very content with yours but there's a better (and cheaper) experience out there. |
