| I apparently was using 1.10 to play through MoTB, and I didn't have any of the problems you're mentioning. The OC is maybe good for one play through, people keep on talking about ALL THE AWESOME MODS, which aren't anything cool like Oblivion's, but just like 500 PnP classes, 500 tweaks, and 500 outfits.
RPGs are like a self fulfilling prophecy of low expectations, I'm pretty sure Whorebach linked to an interview on RPG codex where one of the Obsidian guys explains away everything that sucked about the game as the fault of the publisher rushing them, and after that the interviewer has a video of himself teabagging the obsidian guy to climax. That's what is wrong with RPGs. MoTB doesn't have such a brazen opposition to being good, but it still will test you, much like a crying baby. If you're playing NWN 2 you might as well just try the Witcher it displays a lot less brazen sucking than anything Obsidian has made while still being nerdy and crappy in all the right places. Maybe after you finish that the fan's will have played sko sin eater for Obsidian and fixed your problem. |
